A Legacy of Learning in the Hills of Sikkim
Govt. Sr. Sec. School Hee Yangthang located in Maneybong, Dentam constituency of Gyalshing District, Sikkim. It was established in 1941 as a Committee School. It is one of the oldest Schools in Sikkim. Till 1991 it was a Secondary School and in 1992 it became Senior Secondary. Imposing Education from LKG to XII. It is affiliated to CBSE with four Streams at +2 Level i.e. PCM, PCB, Humanities and Vocational Subjects. During its 82 years of existence, Hee Yangthang Sr. Sec. School is proud to see its product as Chief Minister, Minister, MLA, Member of Parliament, Social Activists and personalities and Statesmen.
Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), our school offers Classes Nersery to XII across four academic streams — providing every student with a pathway suited to their talents and aspirations.
